Program Fees 2026/27

At the Celtic Ensemble, we strive to keep all our programs accessible, inclusive and affordable. If you have any questions or concerns in this regard please don’t hesitate to reach out to president@celticensemble.ca. A needs-based bursary is available on a limited basis.

  • Annual Tuition: $1,605 (or two payments of $802.50)
    Early Bird: $50 credit on first invoice/payment of the season* - Register by July 19 2026

    Rehearsals: Wednesdays 7:30pm-9:30pm, Saturdays 10am-12pm at Highlands United Church, N. Van

    Performance Uniform:

    • Celtic Ensemble t-shirt mandatory. Celtic Ensemble hoodie strongly recommended for outdoor performances (2026 pricing being confirmed).

    • Black dress shoes or flats

    • Formal costume fee (~$150/season).

      • Costs may be less for returning members if ensemble decides to keep the same attire as 25/26 season.

    Additional Costs:

    • September Retreat: $185

    • February Retreat: ~$260 (TBC)

    • West Coast Fiddle Summit (May 2027): TBC

    Required Volunteer Hours

    • 15 hours/year, or $375 fee in lieu of volunteering

    • 10 hours/year, or $250 fee in lieu of volunteering

Billing Schedule:

Annual Tuition payments will be processed on:

  • August 1, 2026 (annual registrations)**

  • December 1, 2026 (if applicable - for two payments)

Semester Tuition payments will be processed at checkout

**Payments for registrations on and after August 1, 2025 will be processed at checkout, and on December 1 (if applicable)

Sibling Discount:

Families enrolling multiple students in Strings & Things, Junior, or Senior Ensemble are eligible for a $50 discount for each additional child. To have this credit applied to your account, please email: admin@celticensemble.ca

Tuition Increase:

Fees for the 2026/27 season have increased by ~2.5% to help cover rising operational costs, including venue rentals, insurance, and staffing. Tuition includes transaction fees. Please consider paying by debit to help reduce our transaction costs (select “preauthorized debit” when setting up a payment method”)

Bursary Support:

Registration Deadline:

Returning Senior and Junior Ensemble members, as well as newly accepted students, must register or confirm their intent to register by August 1, 2026 to secure their spot for the season.

    Expect a total of ~15 performances/year (theatre shows, festivals, community events, eldercare, winter concert series, WCYFS, etc)
