Her goal is to help every student find joy in playing the flute while reaching their full musical potential.

Erin Macdonald
🎼 Viola, Violin & Fiddle
📍East Vancouver
Erin Macdonald is Principal Violist with the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra and performs regularly with the Vancouver Symphony. As an educator, Ms. Macdonald has a wealth of experience teaching classical (Suzuki & RCM) and traditional Scottish fiddle on violin and viola in group and private settings. Erin has held faculty positions at the Vancouver Academy of Music, Ottawa Suzuki Strings, served as Senior Strings Director of OrKidstra (Ottawa), and was teaching assistant to Professor Rennie Regehr as a graduate student at the University of Ottawa.
Erin is accepting a limited number of students into her studio in the fall of 2025.
