Catch an energetic afternoon of youth folk music on Granville Island!

Experience a vibrant mix of Canadian fiddle traditions—Québécois, Celtic, Scandinavian, and West Coast styles—alongside bluegrass, swing, and even a bit of dancing throughout the afternoon… Performed by the West Coast Youth Summit participants!

The West Coast Youth Fiddle Summit is an annual event that connects youth musicians from across Western Canada. Featured performers are: qathet Fiddlers (qathet), BC Fiddle Orchestra (Victoria), Calgary Fusion Fiddlers (Calgary), Coast String Fiddlers (Gibsons), Fiddelium (Nanaimo), Fiddlecats (Yellowknife), Fiddleheads (Whitehorse), Fiddlers Wild (Sechelt), Open Door Fiddlers (Vancouver), North Shore Celtic Ensemble (Vancouver) and Bowline Fiddlers (Vancouver).

Performances are free and open to the public in Chain & Forge Plaza and the Kids Market Plaza.
